Traveling Alone on the Silk Road
When Claire's work was altered by unforeseen circumstances, she continued her healing journey, traveling as shaman and alchemist, in foreign lands.
The presentation has been prepared following Claire's solitary nine-month journey in 2005-2006 through eight countries.
Through the compelling story of the adventure, supported by a visually engaging Power Point presentation, ‘Traveling Alone on the Silk Road', you will experience travels through China and down through Vietnam, Asian cultures with turbulent histories and oriental magic. The adventure will continue to include Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Russia and Mongolia, the main trade routes for the ancient Silk Road.

In August 2013, Claire returned from another 3-month journey along the Silk Road through remote regions in Northern China. From the Buddhist caves at Dunhuang in the province of Gansu, to the Tibetan plateau in the province of Qinghai, to the caves where the people live in the province of Shanxi, and on to the sound of music of Inner Mongolia, the story of the travels through nine provinces are being prepared for presentation and will be ready for showing in January 2014.
Marriage, Relationships and Soul
To unravel the mysteries of attraction and inexplicable connections in relationships or in your marriage, it might be necessary to understand choices from the soul perspective.
Through the eyes of a shaman and alchemist of the Soul you are invited to enter the world of the unseen for an explanation as to why some of your relationships are what they are.
Fascinating, unusual and even entertaining.

A series of five presentations will take you to China through the eyes of solitary traveler, Claire Laskin, who undertook, with the assistance of a translator, to trudge through sixteen provinces of this still mysterious land of the East.
For a total of seven months, in 2006-7 and again in 2013, landscapes, temples, museums, people were photographed and now the story of this personal journey will be told through a PowerPoint showing.
Although the story will be told in the sequence in which it was travelled, if time is limited for the registrant,
individual sessions will still be delightful and informative.
